Our Wonderful Board Members

Kezia Fitzgerald

Kezia was thrown into cancer when she was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in January 2011. Her life was shoved deeper into the cancer world when her daughter, Saoirse, was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma that same May. After enduring, and watching her infant endure, toxic therapies, she realized that there has to be a better way to treat cancer while preserving the quality of life for patients, especially children. She now devotes her time to the Neuroblastoma community, working to find better ways to battle this killer disease, while helping patients and families who are currently fighting.
Courtney Rasey

Courtney Rasey has a Masters of Social Work from University of Maryland, Baltimore and a Bachelors of Science in Sociology from Iowa State University. For the past five years, she has worked as a social scientist in a research organization and currently serves as Vice-President on the board for her daughter's childcare. Courtney is blessed to have two sons and a daughter - her favorite job is being Mutti (boys) and Mommy (daughter). It is her children, along with Saoirse's story, that are her inspiration and motivation for wanting to help fight Neuroblastoma.
Audra Boudreau

Audra holds a BA in Psychology from the University of British Columbia. She worked for many years as a Technical Sales Rep and has now served as an Officer of the Government of Canada, negotiating and managing labor contracts, for several years. Audra is an only-parent to three girls and is the sister of Heath Boudreau (3), who was lost to Neuroblastoma in 1969. Saoirse’s tragic death brought home a shocking realization that, in the world of Neuroblastoma, little has changed in the past 42 years. Since that time, Audra founded The Crazy Foundation, which raises funds for pediatric cancer research and family support while teaching school children the need to be involved in the fight against Childhood Cancer. In her role with the Fitzgerald Cancer Fund, she is committed to helping effect progress in the fight against Neuroblastoma.
Emily Reynolds

Emily is a photojournalist currently based in West Bridgewater, MA. She has her own photography business, ejr-Photography. Emily and Kezia have been best friends since they rode the school bus together in elementary school and their families became each other’s. Saoirse inspired Emily with her incredible spirit and Emily is now dedicated to working to end childhood cancer and to ensure that no more families ever have to go through what the Fitzgeralds have gone through.
